Regarding the Godhead

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
--1 Timothy 3:16
The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is often misunderstood. In fact, Christians are sometimes accused of polytheism by people of other religious groups. Admittedly, the Trinity is a difficult concept. However, just because it is hard to understand does not mean that it is not true! And although the word "Trinity" is not found in its pages, the Holy Bible clearly supports the doctrine: there is one true God who has revealed Himself in three "persons" - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

God the Father

God the Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and the flow of the stream of human history according to the purposes of His grace.
